Stanford Classic AGAIN

American Tennis star, Serena Williams, has defeated Coco Vandeweghe of her own country by 7-5 6-3 and won the Stanford classic title again. Vandeweghe had reached to the finals of a WTA tournament for the first time. The experience of Serena Williams was enough to go through the young Vandeweghe. Vandeweghe made a lot of errors in the match which eventually cost her the match.

Serena has been in fine form in the last few days. She won the Wimbledon Championship just a few days ago. After returning from England, she has been struggling a lot with jet lag, but even after that, she performed brilliantly in this tournament. The recent form of Williams has made her the favourite for the London Olympics. Serena is yet to win a singles title in the Olympics. However, she has won the doubles title in the Olympics for two times by playing with her sister Venus Williams.

On being asked about her preparations for the Olympic, Serena said that she has been struggling with his back problem in the last few days. So, she would like to take rest before going into the Olympics. Serena had to play a match for Washington Kastles on 21st of July, but, she decided to keep herself out of that match. As per Serena, it would have been so nice to go to Washington DC and play, but, at the same time she should take care of her body as she has to represent her country in the Olympics. So, she decided to stay out of the match. As per Serena, She would not play in any tournament before going into the Olympics. She said that taking rest for a few days would make him fit and refreshed. She said that if she wins the singles title in the Olympics, it would be the best moment of her life.
